Caustic calcined magnesite powder agricultural grade is produced by calcining the magnesite at 750–1000 degrees Celsius. We have 32 advanced furnaces and kilns. It is mainly used as magnesium fertilizer, which has a significant effect on increasing the yield of root crops such as beet, potato, and carrot in sandy soil. As we know, magnesium is a required element in plant photosynthesis.
Another important application is the stabilization of ammonium nitrate prills, where the magnesium source (MgO or MgCO3) reacts with nitric acid to produce magnesium nitrate. The later is in turn incorporated in low amounts in the ammonium nitrate product to protect its structural integrity. |
